If you are looking at this page, it means that you have a photography session coming up with me. I am so excited to meet you or see your family again soon.
It is important to put some thought in the clothing that you will pick for the day. The clothes don’t need to be expensive or anything overly fancy. I always say to dress yourself (mum) first. I want you to feel comfortable and be happy with your outfit. If you are just after having a baby, try and avoid anything too tight and maybe go for a little looser fit.
I would like you to stay true to yourself and pick the clothing that you would wear normally and if you are buying something new it would be great to get some more wear out of it. If you are shopping for new clothes and don’t know where to start, check out Zara, Next, H&M, Tesco, Dunnes, Primark, TK-max.
I also have a good few items available in my client wardrobe including dresses for mums, outfits for newborns and older babies, outfits/ dresses/ jumpers/ shorts for older kids too. I will always gladly help you to style your family outfits. Feel free to send me photos and I will help as best as I can.
It is nice to incorporate some textures and patterns in your outfits, something like ditsy florals, stripes or knits. Just be careful to not overdo the patterns.. One or two is plenty and keep the rest of the clothing in solid muted colours.

Whitney is amazing at styling family outfits.
In addition I took some screenshots from Pinterest. These may be helpful to give you some ideas. Remember, that the photos are for you, and I really don’t mind what you wear, I am just giving you some direction of how to create a nice cohesive look for your family.
My studio is normally nice and warm (especially if you are here for a newborn photo session) so lighter clothing work better
For outdoor photo session, it is nice to add layers, textures (like knits) and if it is colder scarfs and hats. Think about shoes too, they will be seen in some of the photos
